Music composed, performed & produced by Ulises Labaronnie

Recorded at U_estudio, Buenos Aires, Argentina
in between October 2021 - July 2022.

In memory of Vangelis
his music inspired me since I was a child…

MUEON

It is the union of two ancient Greek words,
MUEO: Initiation to the Mysteries and EON: God of Infinite Time.
The tireless spirit of doubt and search of this culture is an inspiring attitude.

It is a look at the mysteries of the Cosmos and our infinite curiosity to know them. While he was composing all this music, he was reading about Dark Matter, Cosmic Microwave Radiation and particle models. These readings provoke in me a deep admiration for Nature and also a great respect for the intense work of unveiling its mysteries.

Vangelis's music could accompany each of these emotions, and so I learned to link these contents, that's why I dedicate this album to him.

1.Scientia
A method of knowing, a way of facing the unknown, with the ability to retract, with enough curiosity to always follow the path of truth.

2.Beyond the limits
We need to go beyond the limits of our environment, search in new spaces, explore outside and inside, it is something that goes far beyond our control.

3. So we know
Understanding our Universe is essential, being able to describe the forces, verify how they work and be able to predict their effect, all the time that we know, we realize that there is more that we do not know.

4. Messier Catalogue
Two centuries ago, Charles Messier, looking for comets, counted 110 astronomical objects: Galaxies, Nebulae and Star Clusters Understanding the sky, a romance with infinity.

5. Dark Energy
Present everywhere, it accelerates the expansion of the Universe, 68% of the total cosmic mass-energy, and we don't know what it is.

6.New Particles
The constituent elements of everything, the particles, seem to have their own rules, every so often a new one or a new state of them is found. Blocks that build everything, puzzles.

7.Aperion
For Anaximander, the great disciple of Thales of Miletus, Apeiron was the primordial state from which things originated and where they would return, I can imagine something similar with modern descriptions of the Universe.

8.Gravitational Waves
Waves that traverse cosmic distances, recently found but predicted by Albert Einstein a century before their empirical discovery. Simply beautiful
